Shimano United in Gravel
In collaboration with Shimano and their United in Gravel campaign, Trek created a one-of-a-kind Project One Ultimate Checkpoint to celebrate gravel riding. The marketing was constrained by a near-zero budget. We developed a concept to produce a unique, low-cost set that could be built in-house. The set and lighting brought elements of the campaign, and the outdoors, inside.
Real Smoke Heather Fog
Inspired by smokey morning light, this paint scheme is created by applying a burning torch directly to the frame during the paint process. To launch the scheme, we created a social-first content strategy which brought the paint scheme to life with dynamic fog and heroic lighting.
Monumental
Inspired by the historic showers and grit of the Paris-Roubaix spring classic, the Monumental paint scheme features crackled paint and rich concrete textures. To launch the scheme, we captured studio photography and behind the scenes footage of the paint process.
Driftless
Available only on Trek’s Checkpoint gravel bike, the Driftless scheme features topographic paint details. When posted to Trek’s social channels, the launch photography became one of the brand’s highest performing posts of the year.
